Authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage

The timeless wisdom and grace of Hawaiian Lomilomi massage communicates deeply within the core of the self. Through breath, imagery and Lomilomi movements, gain healing access to the inner links which connect each of us, the environment and the Universal Spirit.

Certificate Courses

Level I Certification comprises 225 hours over six modules.

Module V is a Lomilomi student clinic, 40 hours. Module VI is 100 hrs of Anatomy and Physiology. Upon completion of all modules, one is eligible to become a member of the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association.

Hale Ola - Kaimana Lomilomi is an accredited school under the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada, College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association.

For Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) of BC, completion of the first four modules earns 86 hours (CE/PD) credits. Credits, College of Massage Therapists of BC.

Module I - Authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi (Prone)

The color manual used in Modules I, II, III, IV is $100.

Prerequisite for Module I is to receive a full-body Hawaiian Lomilomi massage ($175 & Gst) from the Instructor: Dean Kaimana Cormin, CMT, HHP, Kumu Lomilomi (certified teacher by the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association).

Cost: $450 Cdn.

2011: Three days, 10:00am-5:30pm. Friday May 27, Saturday 28, Sunday 29.

Module II - Authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi (Supine)

2011: Three days, 10:00am-5:30pm. Friday June 24, Saturday 25, Sunday 26.

Module IV - Authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi (Advanced Techniques)

2011: Three days, 10:00am-5:30pm. Friday September 23, Saturday 24, Sunday 25.

Module V - Lomilomi Student Clinic

CAMT, CH, HHP, NLPP, Certified Authentic Hawaiian Lomilomi practitioner and teacher (Kumu Lomi) by the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association (from the Big Island lineage of Auntie Margaret Machado, Dr. Dane Silva, Papa K., Dr. Makala Yates).

Member of the Hawaiian Lomilomi Association, and the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (formerly the Association of Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners).
